Internship Summary

As an intern, you will be exposed to and learn about the various types of Homeowners and Renters products we offer across the country from Farmers, Foremost and Toggle Insurance lines of business. A 2-week training will kick off the Summer Internship where you will learn about the various claims systems we utilize, learn about the property we insure, and how to investigate coverage and liability for a reported loss. Upon successful completion of training, you will be able to demonstrate your new skills in the role of Claims Adjuster, providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to all your customers. In addition, you will have opportunities throughout your internship to network with other departments and learn about additional career opportunities at Farmers Insurance.

What you Bring

• Pursuing a BA Degree (rising Junior/Senior) or Master’s with an accredited college
• A passion for learning and development
• Experience, knowledge, or an interest in an Insurance career
• Self-motivated, an excellent problem solver, and a quick learner
• Good verbal and written communication skills
