Intel Labs is seeking an experienced software developer and expert in real-time multimedia streaming applications development. You will help design and develop building low latency video streaming applications using intel HW and state of the art streaming technologies like HLS, WebRTC, QUIC etc.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields (statistics, applied math, computational neuroscience) + 5 years of hands-on experience in audio/video media streaming, teleconferencing product development experience.
- Hands on experience with at least one of the popular media streaming applications like Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype etc.
- 2+ years in product development and implementation experience in C++.
- 2+ years in product development using WebRTC
- Proficiency in al-least one of the leading video streaming protocols HLS, SRT etc.
- Experience in OWT (Open WebRTC Toolkit)
- Web server and JavaScript experience
- Exposure to QUIC streaming protocol
- Qualifications: 6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must have experience in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
- Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
