Actuarial Opportunity Internship (summer 2022)

3.6
Zurich is currently seeking an Actuarial Opportunity Intern for our Headquarters office located in Schaumburg, Illinois or our office in New York, New York.

We are looking for candidates interested in exploring an actuarial career! Actuaries are data driven problem solvers whose work incorporates data analysis, finance, accounting, economics, coding, and data science. Our Actuarial Opportunity Internship provides rising Juniors and Seniors (not currently enrolled in an Actuarial Science program) exposure to the actuarial career and an opportunity to become familiar with Zurich’s company operations, business objectives, and actuarial methodologies, all while building a network of business professionals.
The Actuarial Opportunity Internship Program schedule is full-time during summer months, transitioning to part-time during the academic year. Students may be expected to work from a Zurich office location for a portion of the summer but will work virtually during the academic year. Upon successful graduation from an undergraduate program, participants in good standing will be considered for a full-time position at Zurich. The student’s career interest will be used to determine whether the full-time position is actuarial or in another area of Zurich such as finance, underwriting, or claims.
We are currently accepting applications for the session beginning June 2022, Actuarial Opportunity Intern program.
Length of program may vary based on individual selected and graduation date*
