The Oriental Internship Program offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in one of Puerto Rico’s leading banking financial services company. The 2022 Summer Internship Program will allow you to contribute to Oriental’s business strategies through real-life projects engaging and connecting with leaders, technology and innovation. The Internship may be performed within our business segments and functions including Retail Channels, Operations, Transformation / Technology, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Internal Audit, Lending, Auto, US Operations, Wealth Management, Business Development, Marketing, Servicing or Support groups, among others.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Gain experience managing a project from beginning to end guided by a mentor and contribute to O riental business results.
• Get exposure to and work with individuals and teams across Oriental. E xpand your professional network and get to work with team members across Oriental.
• Assess needs and opportunities through various methodologies. Propose and implement solutions to achieve increased productivity and efficiency through data-driven conclusions and recommendations.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration, consultation and relationships with internal and external client groups.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Be a Junior / Senior at an accredited university or college required. Anticipated graduation date of 2022 or 2023 and Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics / Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing and related majors preferred.
• Internship / Co-op experience highly desirable.
• Strong project, analytical, problem solving, innovation, digital, and financial skills.
• Expressing yourself with fluency in Spanish and English (verbal & written) is required.
• Have a project and process mindset with detail-orientation who can manage timelines for optimum productivity, effectiveness, and quality.
• Proficiency on computer systems including MS Office required. Knowledge of databases, analytical, visualization, querying and other tools preferred.
• Availability to work hybrid / remote basis during the summer of 2022 required.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship required.
