Description
The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors. Throughout the program, Summer Interns will gain hands-on experience at one of the top cosmetic companies in the world while working on meaningful projects, networking, participating in professional development workshops, speaker series, and more!
What You’ll Do Work alongside your manager to build your acumen in the selected department and integrate with your team Attend team meetings, assist with departmental tasks and network within the business Participate in professional development, speaker series, and additional social programming events specifically designed for the summer interns Create and present a project to senior leadership generated around true business opportunity
Responsibilities
Recruitment:
Collaborate with cross-functional members of the business, including TA Coordinator, HR Coordinators, HRBPs, HR Ops and HRIS for various recruitment needs
Become familiar with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), SuccessFactors
Continuously maintain candidate status updates (Recruitment Status Report, and SuccessFactors)
Assist with the proofreading, editing, and posting of job requisitions to the Shiseido career site and external job boards
Support the Talent Acquisition team by helping to coordinate candidate interviews
Identify meeting locations, create & send calendar invites to both the interviewer(s) and candidate, register candidates in security, and greet/usher candidate as necessary
Help perform reference checks as requested by Recruiters
Project Work:Recruitment Pipelines:
Work with recruiters on the team to create LinkedIn project pipelines for various position categories (Marketing, Product Development, Chemists, etc.)
Sourcing:
Support recruiters by utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to find potential candidates for open roles
Review resumes in SuccessFactors to determine potential candidates for open roles
Internship Program:
Assist with logistics and various tasks throughout the 9-week program, as requested by the Internship Team
Help with the preparation and execution of intern events throughout the summer
Support Internship team by contributing to the creation and distribution of various surveys to gain insights on the summer internship program
Pitch creative ideas to improve the summer intern program
Employee Referral Program
Support the management of referrals in conjunction with the TA Coordinator
Support recruiters in sourcing, screening, and selecting referred candidates
Assist with managing the Temp Recruitment Process and Temp Tracker
Administrative:
Assist in creating & updating team reports, presentations, documents, and agendas as needed
Coordinate, prep for, and attend team meetings
Requirements/Qualifications
Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
Human Resources or Psychology related majors preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, highly organized
Maintain professionalism while interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, digital-first, work environment
Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty, fragrance and consistently keep up to date with emerging trends
Additional Information: Interns will be selected on a rolling basis and will be notified by a member of the recruiting team if selected for an interview. This program may be hybrid or fully remote depending on your function and individual team needs.
