ServiceLink, one of the top providers in the mortgage services industry, has an exciting opportunity as a Recruiting and Employee Engagement Intern! This experience will allow the intern to develop the skills necessary for job placement and advancement in the mortgage and financial services industries and beyond. The intern will assist with reviewing, creating and updating recruiting process flows and documentation, as well as contributing to various diversity & inclusion initiatives within Recruiting and Employee Engagement. The intern will also work collaboratively with others on a group capstone project and will have opportunities to participate in various program events. The intern will be provided with a foundation of technical and leadership skills and cross-functional opportunities, which will reinforce and expand classroom learning while preparing for postgraduate employment. **It is anticipated that the internship program this year will be primarily Remote/Work from Home. However, we hope to be able to have some opportunities for in-office and in-person activities as well. As such, candidates must be within commuting distance of ServiceLink's corporate headquarters in Moon Twp., PA and be willing/able to come in to the office as needed for program activities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…

  • Work with the Vice President, Recruiting and Employee Engagement, the Talent Acquisition Manager and their teams to assess documentation needs and process gaps
  • Identify best practices and establish consistent process for creating and updating templates, process documents and workflows
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and Employee Engagement teams on various Diversity & Inclusion research and initiatives
  • Communicate daily with stakeholders and peers using Microsoft Teams collaboration features including video conferencing

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain a solid understanding of activities, programs and systems to translate complex steps into simple, polished, and digestible content
  • Determine user documentation needs; work closely with the team to validate existing process documentation and workflow
  • Independently gather information to establish, develop, and write standard operating procedures, workflows, templates, training materials, and process documentation for new and existing programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to write, edit, and format new process documentation and workflows
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement to make documents consumable to the target audience
  • Be present (via phone or video conference) to capture process details as presented during meetings
  • Engage in problem solving discussions with team and make recommendations where appropriate
  • Manage to deadlines; ensure documents are produced on time
  • Communicate effectively to direct management and speak to the progress of a project at any given time
  • Format documentation in accordance with department and company brand-standard guides, including standardized templates and instructions using a variety of content library, standard office and desktop publishing software
  • Develop internal documentation control practices and procedures including system to maintain detailed list of resources and repository locations such as network drives and SharePoint
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and Employee Engagement teams on various Diversity & Inclusion research and initiatives
  • Participate in capstone project
  • Weekly meetings and projects to ensure completion of capstone project
  • Attendance of lunch and learns, leadership meet and greets, team building events, and other events of Internship Program
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Junior, Senior or Graduate Student; Business Administration, Human Resources, or Project Management related majors preferred
  • Experience or certifications in Project Management are a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • High level of detail, accuracy; multi- tasking and organizational skills
  • Strong listening and writing ability; demonstrated ability to accurately document information provided verbally
  • Ability to understand complex and nuance concepts and explain them in concise, logical, and nontechnical terms
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse members of the organization at all levels from team member to senior management
  • Must possess problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
