Overview:
To qualify for the Engineering or Manufacturing summer intern program, student applicants must be:
Internship location will be in Richmond, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, or remote (based on company discretion and business need). Housing assistance is available for eligible interns.

As an Intern you’ll have the opportunity to help Altria shape the future and deliver winning results in an exciting and dynamic time. During paid summer program, you’ll experience on-the-job training, access to mentors, planned social events and educational opportunities.
You’ll be challenged and empowered to:

Execute real-world project tasks, as part of cross-functional teams
- Participate in project scheduling, budgeting and troubleshooting
- Assist teams in identifying areas for improvement and developing/implementing solutions
- Document project work in formal reports and present findings/recommendations to senior management upon internship completion
To qualify for the Engineering or Manufacturing summer intern program, student applicants must be:
- Rising juniors or seniors at the time of the internship in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)
- Strong communicators with strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills and demonstrated leadership initiative
- Preferably experienced in work related to academic discipline
Engineering program participants pursing a relevant undergraduate Engineering degree programs. Those completing the internship are considered for full-time positions and entrance into Altria's Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP)
Manufacturing program participants pursing a relevant undergraduate Engineering, Technology or Business related degree programs. Those completing the internship are considered for full-time positions and entrance into Altria's Manufacturing Leadership Development University (MLDU)
