WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Global Learning & Development (L&D) Analytics Co-Op will be responsible for executing analyses under the guidance and leadership of the lead analyst. The co-op will work in fundamental tasks in Data Analytics – data mining and profiling; data interpretation and analysis; and report development and sharing findings.
You will collaborate with functional and technical focused teams to gather requirements, specify, design, develop, deliver and support analytic solutions for the Global Learning & Development team. You will work in a variety of systems and business intelligence tools, particularly Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, and Microsoft Excel to build high quality and efficient analytic solutions.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Problem solving- Analyzing large datasets
- Managing multiple priorities and projects at the same time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the Learning function, project team, and system developers
- Working with project stakeholders to identify business needs and gather requirements for data analysis
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Preference to rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field- Exposure/familiarity with analytics tools and programming languages a plus (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, SQL)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Prior work, internship or co-op experience in a progressive corporate environment a plus
- Must meet the Co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/university’s academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the Co-op program.
- Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in the Northeastern University Co-op Program
- Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
- Must be physically located in the U.S. during Co-Op
- Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours Monday-Friday

BCG is currently allowing remote work situations in the U.S. due to COVID-19, however should this change, applicants must be able to be physically present in the BCG Boston office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) within a reasonable timeframe.
YOU'LL WORK WITH
The broader team consists of functional and technical (IT / system engineering) individuals in the learning function. You will work more closely in a three-person Center of Excellence, working to improve reporting insights through visualizations and real-time dashboards. The core team is based in Boston, but you will work with a broad range of individuals located in the US, Europe, and India.
