Position Summary_*

  • Understand MedThink’s approach to securing new business
  • Shadow internal and external new business activities to understand the industry and process, including barriers and successes
  • Review and analyze current capabilities content for alignment and effectiveness in securing new business
  • Support alignment of content to new business development process, making recommendations to optimize content and process and implement agreed changes
  • Organize content in a manner that allows for effective and efficient use within new business process

Position Requirements_*
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in business, advertising, or communications related field (current Sophomore or Junior preferred)

Experience: Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams.

Availability

  • Must be available 30 hours per week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
  • Must be available for the entire 10-week program: June 6, 2022 – August 12, 2022
  • This is a REMOTE internship

Position Responsibilities
Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:

  • Learn our approach to securing new business through capabilities presentations, RFP responses and pitches
  • Work closely with the Director of Strategy and Growth to assess, make recommendations to optimize the new business process and files
  • Document and implement changes to the new business process and files
  • Support development of new business presentations and proposals
  • Shadow new business opportunities

Talent & Knack
The candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, advertising, or communications related field (current Sophomore or Junior preferred)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Strong learning agility, ability to understand our CRM and NB process quickly
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data
  • Experience managing projects or events with cross functional teams a plus
