**Internship is for the FALL 2021 Internship Opportunity - This is NOT a remote opportunity- Local Jacksonville, AR ** Will consider shift flexibility to accommodate class schedule.
Position Summary:
The Engineering Intern assists engineers by completing assigned projects and providing daily support of operations.

- Work with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering as assigned to review product designs, improve manufacturing equipment, methods, and flow.
- Analyze data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work with all departments on projects to improve product design, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Generate ideas for continual improvement.
- Support safety programs and initiatives.
- Develop manufacturing work instructions.
Education and/or Experience:
- Completion of junior level courses in an engineering degree program.
- Previous engineering related experience a plus.
- Involvement or leadership in extra curricular activities a plus
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
