JOB SUMMARY

The main objective of the Real Estate Intern is to assist the Real Estate team in acquiring and entitling locations for Circle K/Holiday stores. The Real Estate Intern’s work may include various types of research, proforma modeling, generation of approval packages, and other administrative support. The Real Estate Intern will gain valuable insight in to a large, multi-national company and its industry, along with its development processes; including site selection criteria, real estate valuation, financial modeling, internal approvals and governmental entitlements. This position will be based in Bloomington, Minnesota.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Should be a Junior or Senior, enrolled full time in a University program with an emphasis in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Understand Microsoft Office products and have the ability to learn new software applications including Demographics and Project Management packages.
  • Possess good organizational skills and be able to manage several responsibilities concurrently.
  • Manage deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have well developed verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
  • Be available to work 16-20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week when school is not in session.

BENEFITS

• This position pays $15 per hour.
• Strong performance during the internship could lead to full time employment after graduation, but this is not guaranteed.
• Flexible scheduling and remote working is available.
