About the opportunity

As a Business Development intern at Ellucian, you will assist and gain experience working closely with the Business Development and Strategic Programs team by helping with research and providing strategic program support.

Where you will make an impact

• Work closely with the Senior Director of Business Development and other key team members to ensure you gain a good perspective of the higher education market, the competitive landscape and market strategy
• Monitor public sources for relevant news on key customers and prospects
• Work collaboratively on lead generation and pipeline building activities
• Become versed in all Ellucian solutions, our value and what makes us different from the competition
• Update and maintain prospect and client data in CRM

What you will bring

• Junior or Senior undergraduate students who are majoring in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources and/or Leadership related fields.
• The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• A conscientious, highly motivated self-starter, who is detailed-oriented and committed to make a difference in Higher Education
• A strategic thinker and possesses effective time management skills that focus on long-term success
• Experience with collaboration technology such as video conferencing, and video streaming is preferred
• Exposure to the following technologies is a plus: Slack, Salesforce, Box, and Zoom
