The Role
The role of the Desoutter Project Intern is to assist in coordinating the efforts of the North America Project Team and mapping the business processes of their operations. The Project Team Intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all parts of the Projects Team’s functions including, but not limited to; Sales, Administration, Project Management, and Engineering and will learn from and assist other team members in their daily functions to gain full exposure to the Team’s core competencies. In addition, the Project Team Intern will have the opportunity to work with other functional are areas including but not limited to Desoutter Marketing, Service, Logistics, and Customer Support to improve processes and solve business problems in the rabpidly developing world of Industry 4.0
The intern project will be to develop a flowchart of standard Project Team processes and to create a department manual for all routine procedures in SAP C4C (example: generating weekly funnel status reports), in WorkFront (example: proposal to project conversion), and in SAP ECC (example: creating work breakdown structures). These documents will provide a uniform guideline for all members of the Project Team and a training manual for new members in the future.

What we expect of you?
Education
- Rising Junior or Senior as an Undergraduate or Graduate student at an accredited college, univeristy or technical/vocational instituiton
- Obtaining a degree in Technical, Business, or Project Management
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
Skills / Expereince
- 0-2 yrs. of experience in Engineering, Marketing, Project Management, or Sales
- Ability to learn and adapt to new concepts, process, and tools
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work well with a functionally and culturally diverse team
- Understanding of basic mathematics and accounting
- Microsoft Office Competency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and able to learn new software and programs
- Customer Service
- Basic understanding of Project Management
