3.8
Overview:
This summer our Internship Program will be a hybrid program. A hybrid program means interns will be expected to come into their designated office location about 3 times a week. All internships will be hybrid unless explicitly stated as a remote opportunity.

(This Hybrid opportunity is located in New York City).

Opportunities you could be considered for may include (but are not limited to):
Responsibilities:

Food Network Production & Development Internship: The Food Network/Cooking Channel production & development team is a fun and dynamic group of people, full of creatives who are obsessed with all things FOOD! There is no typical day - since we are an integrated development and production team, we handle all of our projects from the initial pitch, through to the premiere. We collaborate with countless other departments to bring projects to the air, providing creative feedback along the way and serving jointly as problem solvers and editorial leads.

An internship on the FN production & development team will give an aspiring unscripted television professional a glance at the holistic process of how TV shows are created, from the initial idea to the final master delivery. Our intern will shadow various team members to get a day-in-the-life look at things like the difference between making a competition show versus a cooking show, how to recognize the spark of potential in new on-camera talent, or how to build a pitch deck. Interns also often help clean up and maintain internal tracking systems overseen by associate producers and the closely-related scheduling team. By the end of the internship, our intern will have pitched a new show or talent idea to high-level executives in an FN team development meeting! Our intern must love food and must love unscripted TV.

Magnolia Network Programming & Development Internship
: Magnolia's Programming & Development team is unique because we're the new kid on the block - we just launched on linear in January!. We're learning from our audience, which allows us to be more creative and flexible in our Development process. We're also doing so many different types of shows: home, food, lifestyle, inspirational stories, etc. It's pretty unique to have that type of variety.

Work within some of our larger organizational processes like production grids, pitch logs, show schedules, show titles and descriptions, etc. Helping our coordinator with various systems to keep production and development running smoothly, we also want our interns to participate in the Development process and bring show ideas to our pitch meetings.

TRVL Channel Development Intern
: The Travel Channel development team works with external production companies to develop content in the Paranormal and Horror genre. We have the unique opportunity to develop and create content for a growing and exciting genre. Our department is the first step in getting new content into both our linear channel and the D+ service. We work closely with our production department to ensure our loyal viewers are getting the latest and greatest in Paranormal and Horror content.

As our intern, you will assist the team in researching areas for development in the Paranormal and Horror genre. You will take part in brainstorms, pitch meetings and content reviews. You will assist us in our team goal to further our presence as a leader in the Paranormal and Horror genre. Throughout your internship, you will learn the process of content development. At the end of the semester, you will pitch your own original concept to the team for discussion and feedback.

Our group is responsible for the full production cycle from development through production and delivery. They will join brainstorms, a variety of production meetings and see the production cycle from start to finish. Potential projects include participating in development meetings, screening cuts and assisting with project tracking.

True Crime Production Intern
: The ID Production department is responsible for all original True Crime content on ID linear and discovery+. We are a collaborative, cross-functional and creative team.
