Responsibilities:
Distribution Revenue Accounting is seeking an intern to help with projects related to Accounts Receivable and Revenue, including but not limited to reconciliations and analysis
DTC Revenue Internship:The Accounting Department is an exciting place to work these days! We are involved in many new and challenging opportunities. Our day to day work is interesting, and our team is a lot of fun to work with! We interact with most of the other departments within the company, including Legal, Sales and IT.
Our intern will work on the Direct to Consumer Revenue Accounting team. Our main focus is ensuring that the transactions recorded to the financial statements for Discovery+ and other subscription products are complete and accurate. You will be involved in data analysis, recording journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and preparing other reporting. At the end of the internship, you will have an understanding of a corporate accounting department and what is involved in these accounting positions.
Qualifications:
This summer our Internship Program will be a hybrid program. A hybrid program means interns will be expected to come into their designated office location about 3 times a week. All internships will be hybrid unless explicitly stated as a remote opportunity.

Distribution Revenue Accounting Intern: Distribution Revenue Accounting is responsible for processing remittances for affiliate customers on a monthly basis to account for AR, revenue, and cash. Review and analysis are conducted to ensure customers are in compliance with contracts and payment terms, as well as appropriate reserves, are in place.

- Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
- Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Our Summer 2022 program will run from Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 to Friday, August 19, 2022.
The application deadline for Summer 2022 is Friday, March, 4th. After this date, we cannot guarantee your application will be reviewed for the position.
Our internships are paid opportunities. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired.
