This role is responsible for working with our clients to support their business-to-business data exchange with their customers. The ideal candidate has a general understanding of technology and operations and enjoys engaging with clients through customer service and support. The ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, quickly triage and resolve customer issues is required. Previous experience providing Level I support is also a plus.

This is the perfect role for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in Software Support or Systems Administration. We are passionate about our people, solutions and technology and are seeking an experienced enthusiastic intern that shares that same passion. We are looking for a minimum of 20-25 hours a week time commitment.

Qualifications

Education
  • Currently attending an accredited college or university attaining a degree with technology or business, required
  • Academically in good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, preferred
  • Currently an actively enrolled Junior/Senior student, preferred

Experience
  • Three (3) or more months customer service-related experience, required
  • Classroom programming and SQL experience, required
  • Exposure to software solutions, business operations, etc., preferred
  • Exposure to help desk processes/procedures and ticketing systems, preferred
  • Business Analyst skills, preferred

Software
  • Basic level experience with Microsoft operating systems and suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with specific emphasis on Excel, required
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), X12, preferred
  • Microsoft Technologies experience, including SQL, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Candidate must have a strong technical aptitude to learn new technology
  • Effective organization and documentation skills
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • A high degree of ethics, professionalism, attention to detail and communication excellence (both verbal and written)
