Intern (Performance Marketing -- hybrid role, Glen Allen VA)
Position Description
Atlantic Union Bank’s Diversity Summer Internship program is a professional development opportunity for local diverse students to gain practical work experience, helping students become better prepared to enter into the financial industry post-graduation. Students have the ability to build professional networks, and receive training and mentoring throughout the program.
Atlantic Union Bank’s Performance Marketing Intern Program is designed to give college students an introduction into Performance Marketing strategy and process along with general exposure to a professional setting. The internship will include opportunities to learn, and directly contribute to execution and strategy.
Position Accountabilities
The Intern is provided assignments that include the entire audit process; from planning an audit, to performing test work, to creating issues for reporting audit findings, to finalizing an audit. The intern will also get the opportunity to:
- Attend team meetings, coordinate key processes and attend focus groups.
- Shadow execution path of digital and direct campaigns and suggest future optimizations
- Conduct competitive analysis and create 2 strategy recommendations
- Create final write up on experience, key lessons learned and key contributions delivered
Organizational Relationship
This position reports to the SVP, Head of Performance Marketing
Position Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Position Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years’ old
- Currently working on degree in English Literature, Communications or Marketing
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required, and Students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree
- Position is currently remote. Once offices re-open, position will be hybrid; in the office 2 days per week. Must be available to work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, within Richmond, VA.
