Solutions Enrollment Summer Internship
Duration: June 6 - August 19, 2022
Due to the complexity of the COVID-19 pandemic, this internship will likely be entirely remote, depending on PSCU's onsite business practices by Summer 2022, there is a chance that we may host onsite meetings or events in St. Petersburg, FL

Digital Platform Operations
The Digital Platform Operations team delivers high quality set-up and configuration of ecommerce products to credit unions for offerings to their members.
The team implements several ecommerce products each crafted with a business and consumer market interest. For example:
Digital Wallets – Securely stores a consumer’s credit and/or debit card account number and allows the consumer to choose the payment card from the digital wallet to make POS purchases with participating merchants or online purchases. Mobile digital payment service offered by Apple, Samsung, Android, MasterCard, and VISA. It applies traditional payment rails while improving payment security by using tokenization.
DX Mobile – The DX Mobile is branded with the credit union’s Logo/Colors. The credit union’s cardholders can manage their credit and/or debit card account on a mobile device. Cardholders can view transaction history, view payment history, make a payment, file a dispute, or report their card lost/stolen directly from their mobile device.
Alerts and Controls – Alerts and Controls offers credit unions the ability to activate and receive real time notifications or set automated card declines on their mobile devices or via email notifications on their credit and/or debit card account. The cardholder has control of which Alerts and Controls they wish to see and how they would like their selections delivered to them, creating their own unique consumer experience.
Automated Fraud Alerts – Automated Fraud Alerts adds an additional communication channel to the current Fraud Detection services process for notifying cardholders of suspect transactions. The solution uses an automated system to deliver alerts via Digital Voice (prerecorded), SMS and Email (available with a branded system). Goals and Objectives
The main responsibility of the intern for the purpose of this engagement is to assist the project manager in the implementation and delivery of ecommerce products to our credit unions. The intern will become a subject matter expert in the set-up of our DX Mobile and Alerts/Controls product by learning our PSCU set-up systems such Services Management, PCF, and Security Admin Access; as well as configuration tools Admin Connect and m-Console used to deliver art work and logos to devices; and push credit unions apps to the Google and Apples stores. Another goal of this engagement is to develop and streamline our current implementation and reporting processes.

The PSCU’s Summer Internship Program provides you – a junior or senior undergraduate student - with the chance to develop and hone your skills in business. We offer the opportunity to build for your future by learning firsthand the Financial and more specifically Credit Union industry through professional inter-organizational experience, coupled with focused learning opportunities in your chosen career path or developmental interest. You’ll also gain insight into our rich history, our unique culture, and our committed social conscience.
Over the course of this 10-week program, it is PSCU's goal to provide our interns not only with a real job experience that better prepares future graduates for their chosen profession, but to provide them the knowledge and experience vital to navigate a business environment.
In our program, interns will engage with a group of their peers in acquiring a knowledge foundation in Credit Unions, the financial industry, Six Sigma, preparing for a job search, presentation skills, and more. You will also be given opportunities to network directly with industry leaders at PSCU.
PSCU Intern Program Entry Qualifications
- Completion of sophomore or junior year in an accredited undergraduate degree program with a 3.0/4.0 GPA at time of application.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate thoughts, communicate, completely, and concisely.
- Strong, organizational, and detail skills, with the ability to consistently perform as business requests.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to adjust easily when directions and priorities change on short notice.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite® with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
- Proficiency in software that applies to your major and function-specific internship.
- Passion for learning the Credit Union Industry.

Digital Platform Operations Internship Requirements
- Understanding of how people use digital platforms and on what devices, e.g., mobile, IPads etc.
- Digital literacy as it relates to digital technology, tablets, smartphones, websites, wearables, and other online platforms.
- Knowledge/experience with implementation of system settings and options, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to extract, analyze, and translate relative information for use in short and/or long term problem –solving solutions.
- Knowledge/experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Ability to document and discuss work-related questions and expectations with manager.
- Demonstrated use of analytics and data management in decision-making on platform features and use.
