About the Role

The CrowdStrike Services Internship Program is a 12-week full-time summer internship that provides individuals with experience across all major aspects of the CrowdStrike Services business. This role has a focus on Strategic Advisory Services which are proactive measures in preventing a cyber breach from occurring. CrowdStrike’s Strategic Advisory Services team advises our customers on a wide array of proactive security topics to help enhance security programs, educate employees, and develop tailored cyber initiatives in managing cybersecurity risks.

After completing this program, candidates will gain experience in the following areas: Proactive portfolio of Strategic Advisory Services

  • Learn from working side-by-side with the most highly skilled security practitioners on the planet

  • Building realistic scenarios and attack paths emulating today’s most sophisticated threats in exercising corporate incident response capabilities

  • Assessing a company’s ability to defend against ransomware attacks

  • Assessing the maturity of a company’s Information Security Program including business as well as manufacturing environments, industrial control, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems

Project Management and Reporting

  • Preparing technical and executive summary reports

  • Delivering recommendations to technical as well as executives

  • Familiarity of managing successful projects, tools and organization

CrowdStrike Tools

  • Best in industry Falcon Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) and associated products including: o Falcon Identity Threat Detection (ITD)

o Falcon Spotlight

What You’ll Need…

  • Be working towards a BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Data Science or other related field.

  • Be a rising Junior/Senior (if pursuing an undergraduate degree)

  • Be scheduled to graduate after August 2023

From a technical perspective, it is desired (but not required) that candidates:

  • Be comfortable with discussing networking and system administration best practices

  • Be acquainted with strategies and tools used within enterprise security programs
