Software Engineering Intern/Co-op
We are seeking C# .Net programmer/students currently enrolled in BSCS/BSCE programs willing to join a fast paced and challenging development team as an intern. Students will work under the direction of senior and junior software and QA engineers on tasks which will encompass analyzing, developing, modifying, documenting, testing, and debugging our software products. You will also learn and exhibit departmental standards and procedures as well as become familiar with technologies relevant to the company’s cutting-edge software products.
Essential Functions:
Participates and helps in the design activities of software development
Tests and debugs software and delivers to directing developer for system integration and test
Codes and maintains software modules of moderate to large size and complexity working from written and oral requirements and specification
Assists in the development of prototype versions of software modules and applications
Participates in design and code reviews
Provides regular feedback (e.g., detailed status reports) to manager on progress
Developing cross platform applications that make a difference in the work environment
Education & Experience:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering
Graduation date of June 2023 or later
Ability to work 10-20 hours/week during the school year and up to 40 hours/week during summer break
Software development experience: C# .Net programming abilities preferred
Ability to work in a team environment and develop enterprise level applications, under the direction of senior staff and management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
