The Minnesota Judicial Branch (MJB) is pleased to announce an opening for a Human Resources Summer Intern supporting the Talent Strategy and Management team. This mostly remote internship is designed to give qualified interns meaningful hands-on experience working in human resources in areas of recruiting outreach, data analysis, learning and development, employee retention, job classification, and more.The Minnesota Judicial Branch offers a comprehensive benefits package. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Research and provide recommendations on recruiting outreach for difficult-to-fill job roles. Support recruiters in creating partnerships with organizations and universities to build our talent pipeline.Use Microsoft Excel to gather data related to recruiting, providing summaries on identified metrics.Use Microsoft PowerPoint to update existing training materials in performance management and employee benefits.Gather employee survey data from recruiting, onboarding, and exit surveys, providing a quarterly and annual summary.Support job classification unit on special projects such as updating job descriptions and conducting salary research.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education, training, and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below will be considered. Minimum Qualifications: A current college student working towards a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or other related degrees.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint• Ability to gather data and effectively summarize it with customers using charts, tables, etc.• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.• Ability to perform assigned work duties.
