Summary

The primary responsibility for the SAP Intern is to collaborate with the business users and IT team members to provide support, and continuous improvement of business systems related to all areas of the business.

An ideal candidate for a Carhartt internship is a student entering their junior or senior year and currently an active student at an accredited university or vocational school.

Responsibilities
Intern responsibilities will vary based on the business unit supported. These units could include SAP OTC, SAP RTR, SAP P2P or SAP PTP
Consult with business process owners to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, and communicate those requirements accordingly
Work with business partners and IT leadership to determine priority of enhancement requests
Day to day support and maintenance of the production environment including system monitoring
Ensure that the process designs comply with requirements, established methodologies, and best practices (where applicable)
Ensure business system implications are communicated to the business
Participate in process mapping, including process flows, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, etc.
Collaborate effectively with the technology, security, and application delivery teams regarding SAP needs
May perform a wide variety of technical and clerical tasks, including but not limited to: defining or documenting processes, supporting project work and planning documentation, and supporting department functions requiring routine maintenance
Education
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Currently Enrolled Student
Required Skills and Experience
Students entering their junior or senior year are preferred
SAP S/4 Hana understanding of integrated end-to-end processes. Knowledge of integration between OTC and P2P is required
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partners
Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail
Flexible and responsive to new or special projects assigned
Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Moderate Lifting (15-30 lbs)
Willing to work some weekends if necessary
Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
