The Concessions team is responsible for growing our brands with retail partnerships. The Concessions Intern will have visibility into how the team works closely with Claire’s internal, marketing and merchandising teams, In-store Presentation and Stores/field team and other cross-functional partners. The Concessions Intern is responsible for assisting with projects and activities to support the sales team. The concessions business unit is one of the key high growth initiative at Claire’s.

The Concessions team is responsible for growing our brands with retail partnerships. The Concessions Intern will have visibility into how the team works closely with Claire’s internal, marketing and merchandising teams, In-store Presentation and Stores/field team and other cross-functional partners. The Concessions Intern is responsible for assisting with projects and activities to support the sales team. The concessions business unit is one of the key high growth initiative at Claire’s.
The Intern will receive an overview of the practical application of the:
- Planning and execution of Claire’s concession program strategy
- Partnership across cross functional departments
- Insight into partnerships with retailers
- Insights into category management selling strategies
- Collaborate with sales team to drive business improvement projects
- Support the build out and implementation of processes to gain efficiencies throughout the organization.
- Work with designated resources (internal and external) to maximize sales
- Store visits to understand how different channels of trade operate, how product is merchandised, and understand competition
- Work with the sales team on customer projects to launch new partners
- Analyze partner data to identify trends and patterns that can be used to increase sales
- 40 hours per week for College Credit if allowed by applicants College/University
- Evaluation of your performance by mentor
- Exposure to Marketing Senior Leadership
- Exposure to key marketing and planning meetings
- Completed at least 2 years of a 4-year college degree
- 3.0 GPA
- Be responsible, flexible, hardworking, ethical and committed to the internship program
- Junior level or above pursuing a Bachelor degree
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strategic and tactical thinker that will turn any challenge into an opportunity
- Possess an interest in a career in consumer goods sales
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects
- Strong detail-oriented and accuracy skills
