Reporting to: Real Estate Acquisition Analyst
Location: Remote
Denver-based hospitality Company seeks a professional, highly organized, goal-oriented internship candidate with strong communication skills and the desire to enter the real estate field. The ideal candidate will be entering their junior or senior year at an accredited four-year institution with one to two semesters of finance and/or real estate courses completed. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal strengths, business judgement, and work ethic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research initiatives including sourcing new properties and developments, strategic assessment of current inventory, and consolidation of market conditions.
- Assist in underwriting prospective properties, combining analysis in revenue management, market supply, revenue, cost projections, and service delivery model.
- Improve the current underwriting process through new ideas and tools, experience, and collaboration with the real estate strategy team.
- Lead the underwriting process from start to finish, including updating proformas, communicating with the sales team, and auditing proposed lease numbers.
- Work closely with sales team representatives and member services to stay abreast of prospect and member demand for new locations and property classes.
- Work closely with portfolio management and revenue management teams to ensure a high degree of quality in property underwriting.
- Participate in the day-to-day operations of real estate strategy, interacting directly with internal groups.
- Lead special data projects to help senior team determine strategic growth initiatives.

- Analytical Skills – must have some experience in financial modeling and be knowledgeable and passionate about real estate and hospitality operations.
- Attention to Detail – Must be able to consistently demonstrate a strong attention to detail for all lead generation, financial analysis, interdepartmental collaboration, and contract terms.
- Communication Skills - Must be able to communicate effectively and in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing, to both internal and external audiences.
- Process Management - Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all components of each task are properly presented, managed, and reported. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
- Problem Solving – Must be able to solve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully and efficiently, and work well in group problem solving situations.
- Software Expertise - Proven skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Presentation Skills- Able to demonstrate a clear ability to create and deliver presentations that succinctly demonstrate the essence of the material being presented.
- Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment, prioritize competing demand, change approach or method to best fit the situation, able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciate the opportunity to adjust and adapt with a growing business.
Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Entering junior or senior year at an accredited four-year university.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or Hospitality Management.
- One to two semesters of finance and/or real estate courses completed.
- Software Strength - Proven experienced in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Compensation - $16.00/ hour
Benefits – This position is eligible for Inspirato’s 401k program. The company offers a 6% match to those who choose to enroll.
Internship Duration – Monday to Friday from June 3, 2022 to July 29, 2022 (Please make sure you can commit to the full duration of the internship)
