Job Summary
This role is a temporary internship assignment during the Summer of 2022 in the Marketing, Insights & Customer Engagement organization. Intern will gain exposure in the Marketing & Communications Strategy and Insights department, the Marketing Management department, and the Customer Engagement Execution & Governance departments.
Business needs will determine the workload. Tasks may include:
Review marketing and communication plans and assist in campaign development for customer facing programs and products, including creative strategy and channel alignment.
Assist in the analysis of marketing channels and analytics.
Assist in providing insight into internal and/or external challenges and regulatory issues.
Review and study internal and external research and marketing trends that help support assigned marketing strategy project.
Publish and present written Point of Views (POVs) and other strategy documents to marketing professionals and key stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of operational and informational communications and campaigns.
Required/Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration (concentration in Marketing or Management) OR currently enrolled and pursuing a Master’s of Marketing or Business degree.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
Desired Qualifications
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Students classified as juniors or higher.
Understanding of basic marketing theories and principles.
Demonstrated effective leadership skills through on-campus, extracurriculars and/or volunteer activities.
Ability to work independently and/or part of a team to meet critical milestones.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Capable of building, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key clients and subject matter experts while working in a team environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Working Conditions
Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the Charlotte office.
