Part of PVH’s Early Talent Program, co-op opportunities within our Technology & Process Group (TPG) offer motivated students the ability to gain fashion industry experience, with a realistic preview of what it would be like to work at PVH with our iconic brands such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. During this paid co-op you will be provided with meaningful, challenging hands-on tasks, as well as exposure to various parts of our organization and corporate tools. You will also attend various professional development workshops, industry learning sessions with senior leadership and have the opportunity to meet other co-ops and interns across brands and functions.
Co-ops will need to be local to the area as we are anticipating our office locations for summer and fall 2022 to be an in person/remote hybrid work environment. PVH requires that all associates and visitors, including business partners, job applicants, consultants and contractors be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter our offices in NY and NJ.
Summer / fall 2022 co-op details:
- The co-op is a 5-6 month paid co-op with full-time hours
- 2022 planned program dates are June 6th (some schools July 5th) to December 9th for all co-ops; co-ops need to fulfill entire time commitment
Here are important dates and expectations to keep in mind (estimated timeframe, subject to change):
- Rolling application deadline for each co-op positions, starting in February. Apply early for greater consideration in the process.
- Initial screening: conducted by our recruiting team members via phone or video screen.
- Final interviews: conducted by our hiring teams via phone or video interview starting mid to late March.
- Offers: extended late March into April, if necessary.
Technology & Data Science Co-Ops (Summer - Fall 2022)
- Co-op opportunities available on the following teams: Information Security, Cloud & Automation, Global Application Support, EDI Integrations, Enterprise Data & Analytics
- Our University Recruiting team will collaborate with the hiring teams to select and place students on a specific team based on skillsets and interest
Depending on team, your primary responsibilities may include:
- Information Security: Strong Interest in forensic analysis or threat hunting, assist the Information Security Group on day-to-day duties like user provisioning and de-provisioning, vendor risk analysis and promoting security awareness in the company.
- Cloud & Automation: The Cloud Service Reliability Engineer is responsible for effective design, implementation, operation and maintenance of infrastructure on premise and in the cloud – specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Global Application Support: Provide application support for SAP’s S4 Fashion Solution, work closely with SAP Functional leads, Technical leads responsible for project-related, daily operation and other tasks
- EDI Integrations: Assist the EDI platforms, i.e. IBM Sterling, team in the creation of requirements documents, EDI mapping, daily support, and execution of unit testing and integration testing
- Enterprise Data & Analytics: Work alongside data and analytics team to learn and apply analytics and insights into real life situations for commercial, supply chain and consumer analytics
Education
- Rising junior or senior undergrad student with a declared major in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Business Analytics or technology related degree.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA in core major classes preferred
Experience / Skills (technical skills vary by team):
- Previous relevant internship / work experience or demonstrated interest in the industry
- Demonstrated academic leadership or extra-curricular activity preferred
- Strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills preferred
- Self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas
- Basic knowledge of systems development principles, theories and concepts, operating system, server architecture, DevOps or SRE practices
- Entry level experience with a programming language such as Python or Java, Perl or Ruby
- Entry level knowledge of Azure AD or other cloud platforms preferred
- Experience with relational database design and operations - SQL
- Familiarity with at least one of the data tools: SQL, Spark, Python, Databricks, Visualization Tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy) or similar tools
- Understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
