The College Board's Psychometrics internship Program is an exciting chance to develop new skills while contributing to an organization that is committed to the transformation of education in America through college readiness for all students. At College Board, Psychometrics provides partners with measurement solutions that set the standard for quality, efficiency, and innovation through operational excellence and research leadership that advances the field of psychometrics and supports the College Board mission of access and equity in education.

The internship program presents a unique opportunity to highly talented students who wish to develop strengths in core skills and to obtain real-world work experience. The College Board is committed to our internship program and ensures that each student receives mentoring, experiences assignments that allow for collaboration with diverse groups across the organization, and focuses on defined deliverables.

Interns will:

  • Be involved in the operations of the Psychometrics department

  • Have the opportunity to work on College Board testing programs (SAT, AP, CLEP, and ACCUPLACER)

  • Duration: Eight weeks (June 6–July 28, 2022)

  • Location: Remote

  • Paid/full-time summer internship

  • Positions: 2

  • Hours per week: 40 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be a current Junior or rising Senior enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in:

    • Psychology

    • Mathematics

    • Statistics

    • Computer Science

  • Have an interest in psychometrics operations

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Have a desire to learn, explore, and be challenged

  • Be interested in working for a mission-oriented, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving education

  • Be able to work the entire agreed upon internship period
