Foundation Data Compliance Internship
The Foundation team is the fundraising arm for Bon Secours Mercy Health and is responsible for raising money for various projects, Programs and Capital needs across the entire ministry.
Data Solutions Data Compliance Internship
The intern will assist with data integrity for Raisers Edge fundraising/donor database and Financial Edge (fund and grant management software).
Location: Remote
Dates: Monday, May 23rd, 2020 -Friday, August 5th, 2022
Hours: 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Audit and update the internal databases (Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge), to ensure accurate demographics
- Assist with data entry, clean up, and auditing of existing grant records and donor information and within Raiser's Edge
- Create queries and reports from Raisers Edge
- Update Raiser's Edge, Financial Edge, Grant making and any other Foundation data application
- Assist in data clean-up for outdated and/or inaccurate data values
- Create and update policies and procedures
- Verify reimbursements have been received and updating records
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Mining, Finance/Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or an Analytical/Statistics/Mathematical related degree
- Preference for Junior/Senior
- Strong analytical skills

- Self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the leaders and colleagues
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management and organization skills
