Digital Content Strategy - Remote/Part Time
This is a part time remote internship for the summer of 2022
- Collaborate as a member of a project team to work toward a shared goal.
- Participate in project meetings and produce work on deadline.
- Learn Advocate Aurora’s style, tone and brand voice and follow house guidelines in content creation.
- Learn Advocate Aurora’s WYSIWYG CMS.
- Interview and collaborate with medical professionals to obtain source information for content projects.
- Work on website migration projects that involve reorganizing a website’s information architecture, rewriting content and building pages.
- Write and edit webpage content to create compelling, easy-to-understand, on-brand, SEO-optimized content that helps consumers find what they’re looking for and leads to conversions.
- Build and edit webpage content in our CMS.
- Learn about the health care environment and provide ad-hoc assistance as needed across the department.
- Respond to emails, phone calls, utilize Microsoft Teams for video and phone meetings regularly.
- Track and update reports as necessary.
- Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain presentations.
3 days a week (20-24 hours; more if needed).

Field of Study (if applicable): College/university junior, senior or recent graduate, obtaining BA/BS in digital and multimedia communications, marketing, branding, advertising, public relations, journalism/mass communications or equivalent area of focus

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
- Passion for digital content, marketing, writing and health care
- Basic understanding of and interest in SEO and digital platforms and channels
- Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of information
- They must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- They should be customer service-oriented and learn techniques to best serve clients.
- Access to a reliable internet connection, computer, webcam, and phone for video calls
- Ability to take direction well, work independently and be motivated self-starters.
- Current enrollment at a regional accredited college or university. Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree
- Grade point average of at least 2.5.
- Experience using various computers/software systems including Word, Windows based mainframe
- Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Outlook.
- Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.Sound judgement and decision making ability.
