SOREL Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator- Customer Experience Intern
PROGRAM SUMMARY

Interns can expect to gain valuable hands-on experience within their department while building partnerships with teams and fellow interns along the way!
- Location: Portland, OR
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Date Options: May 25th- August 2nd or June 22nd to August 30th
ABOUT THE POSITION
This position would learn about the SOREL Ecommerce business around user experience within our site, customer service and the overall general experience our consumer has for many facets of our business. We want to know how we stack up to our competitors and they areas that we can improve upon. This person will work with Sorel Ecommerce marketing, customer service and operations team.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- You will do on-line competitive research, gathering data from multiple internal sources, and meet with teammates virtually. Organizing the information, pulling into a presentation, and providing a recommendation that SOREL will use to possible add to strategic roadmap.
- Ordering product, Returning product, Exchanging product, Reviewing product on site, documenting cost and time associated with above.
- Reaching out to customer service with questions (SOREL to provide list of questions).
- Try to order out-of-stock product: sign up to hear
- Interact with our Social Teams and ecommerce marketing to understand the customer journey through interaction, reviews and ratings, customer service calls.
- Gather and research all things customer experience from 3-4 of our top competitors.
- Compile information, creative a competitive scorecard
- Present findings and recommendations for SOREL Improvement points.
YOU ARE
- Resourceful and able to gather and mine data from multiple sources.
- Ability to reach out to people and teams they have never met to get answers.
- not afraid to ask questions and who will be excited to present to senior leadership.
YOU HAVE
- a genuine interest in digital marketing/Ecommerce and/or pursuing a degree in marketing or ecommerce
- The ability to work independently and in a virtual environment (remote)
ELIIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Current student with one of the following academic standings: Rising Junior, Senior, Graduate/ MBA student
- Degree relevant to the internship you are applying for
- Must be able to participate in 10-week program for either date option provided above
- Must be able to work onsite at our headquarter location for the duration of the internship- interns will partner directly with their managers regarding expectations to work collaboratively in office specified days of the week
NON-LOCAL CANDIDATE CONSIDERATIONS
- Relocation assistance & housing is NOT provided- these costs and arrangements would be the responsibility of the intern for the entirety of the program
