Ingram Micro is seeking a motivated and talented Technical Sales Intern to join us in June for our 10-week PAID Summer Internship Program! We are looking for ambitious college and university students who are ready to expand their skills and apply them to meaningful work with a global organization.

Essential responsibilities of your role:

  Learn Ingram Micro Value Prop
• Be assigned to a Field Salesperson’s Account to actively participate in calls, take notes, provide opinion and feedback to team
  
• Be capable of creating reports to business on opportunities, and where applicable make recommendations to team
  
• Develop business plan for increasing IM share of wallet at account assigned and identify with market data (publicly available and IM BI) as it relates to Hybrid IT opportunities
  
• Present business plan to team and be prepared to answer questions specific to recommendations

Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities you need to have:

• Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program, or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter) from an accredited college/university program. Juniors or seniors are preferred.
• Strong academic record with a cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Team oriented self-starter - ability to work in a team but be responsible aka leadership, preferably self-describing as extravert more than introvert
• Command of business concepts, IT market and Financial acumen – profit and loss / balance sheet/ accounts, familiarity with market influencers on business
• If computer science – ability to code or programming capability, have some basic certifications in cloud (AWS. Azure), RPA is a plus
• Presentation skills – ability to write, create and present in front of an audience
• Organizational – is organized, punctual, and prepared for meetings with notes, research, commentary and an understanding of the desired goals of meetings
