eCommerce Site Experience Intern

KEEN is offering college students a completely virtual opportunity to experience and be embedded into the brand by offering a 10-week paid summer (June - August) internship.

Program Requirements
- Be a Junior, Senior, or Grad student
- Must be able to dedicate 40 hours/week toward the internship during normal M-F PST working hours

General Summary
In the DTC (Direct-To-Consumer) Department, the keenfootwear.com eCommerce site provides a high level of exposure to strategic brand initiatives and is a key priority in the brand’s digital first approach. The Site Experience Intern participates, assists in and gains exposure to both day-to-day work, and large-scale project & initiatives. This role reports to the Global Digital Product Team, and works cross functionally to support merchandisers, content producers and QA.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supports the coordination of updates in web production for all aspects of the site including navigation, product and category content, and campaign, coupons & promotions
- Manages multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Helps create slideshows and presentations for the DTC leadership team’s ecommerce projects and initiatives
- Attends weekly video meetings with global eComm leads and developers to support in capturing requests, details, and other pertinent information regarding the website
- Works cross functionally within digital DTC: Merchandising, Content Development, UX, Creative & Blog to help maintain and update the website
- Uses and gains visibility to a variety of the technology stack used at KEEN: project management tools and eCommerce systems
- Create/maintain documentation on standard operating procedures
- Assist in global Quality Assurance efforts to validate both new features, content, and site experiences are of quality and working functionally across regions, devices and browsers as intended
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled an accredited college or university at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. Business, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems degree preferred
- Must be able to dedicate 40 hours/week toward the internship during normal M-F PST working hours
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and on tight deadlines
- Able to sit and/or stand at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
