Responsibilities :
You will…
- Support editorial merchandising and promotion strategies
- Support editorial localization & translation process with operations teams
- Develop and implement content curation as needed
- Coordinate Disney+ content optimization across global programming teams
- Track priority content campaigns
- Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams, and to the larger organization
- Partner with programming data & insights to take action on findings
Basic Qualifications :
What we’re looking for…
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Passion for the TWDC content library, brands, franchises, and characters
- Understanding of digital media platforms, including hand-on experience with content management systems
- Superior organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects, with a keen attention to detail
- Must be open to thinking outside of traditional models
- Well-developed written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Advanced data literacy
- Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit.
- Can manage multiple projects in varying stages of development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience writing and/or editing copy
- Written foreign language fluency
- Experience working within the media and entertainment industry
Required Education :
- Currently enrolled as a junior or higher, or must have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Creative Writing, or related
Additional Information :
Internship Eligibility:
- At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Work Environment
- This internship will be located in Glendale, CA and interns must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation to and from work
- This will be a hybrid working situation with some days in the office and some days working remotely each week
- The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space for working remotely.
- Glendale, CA hybrid work schedule preferred, although fully remote candidates will be considered. Must be available to work full time hours on Pacific Standard Time (PST) for the duration of the internship
