Job Description
Calling all rising junior and senior undergraduate students! We are currently seeking a superstar Merchandising Intern to join the Fabletics Retail - Merchandising team for Summer 2022.
What You’ll Do: Execute day-to-day tasks necessary to assist the Merchandising team. Responsible for weekly reporting updates, assortment tool updates & coordination. Develop a broad, general understanding of all merchandising functions, responsibilities, and cross-functional interdependencies in order to provide merchandising support across multiple divisions/categories.
- Assist Retail Merchants in daily/weekly/seasonal merchandising functions including:
- Create and maintain merch tools (Corporate Linesheet, Seasonal Buysheet, etc.)
- Update data and templates for selling recaps
- Prepare necessary materials for milestone meetings
- Act as liaison between many departments: excellent communication and analytical skills
- Make data-driven decisions and product related suggestions with regards to trend, pricing and assortment
- Excellent networking ability with good follow up skills
- Should be confident working with numbers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Own and develop a long-term project based off data and in-store experience and feedback to suggest improvements and implement change for our Retail Stores
Who You Are:
- Energetic, lover of product, with an interest in digging into sales trends!
- Strong communication skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, enjoys working cross functionally with multiple teams and personality types
- Highly organized, able to shift priorities with a sense of urgency, have excellent attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Excel and have advanced knowledge of Powerpoint, Google Docs
The Intern Gig: We are looking for enthusiastic students with ambition to go far. Our full-time paid internship program will give you a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it is like to be a part of our fast-paced and innovative company. Our summer internship program will be located in our El Segundo headquarters, and will run for 10 weeks from June 13th-August 19th. Our interns have the unique opportunity to gain real work experience, while participating in skill-building workshops and interactive social activities throughout the duration of the internship assignment.
