Talent Acquisition - Samaritan Group Internship
The Samaritan Group handles the recruitment of all positions (except physicians and executive positions) in the acute care setting of BSMH, The Samaritan Group is comprised of the following markets in Ohio: Toledo, Lima, Springfield, Lorain, Youngstown and Greenville South Carolina
Dates: Monday, May 23rd, 2022- Friday, August 5th, 2022
Hours: 40 hours per week for a minimum of 11 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Networking and Hiring Event Coordination and Follow Up. This includes scheduling events, confirming locations, and securing leaders to attend. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for reaching out and inviting candidates, confirming their attendance and sending follow up notes after the events.
- Updating and Maintaining Event Calendar
- Research and creating partnerships with local community agencies to enhance our candidate pipelines.
- Phone screening of all external candidates.
- Initial outreach of candidate leads from marketing efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior Business, HR or Marketing Major
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, I/O Psychology, Marketing, Communications, Psychology
Strong service orientation
Self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be self-motivated, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the leaders and colleagues
