JOB DESCRIPTION

Green Dot is excited to offer internship opportunities for Summer 2022. In addition to valuable work experience, you will have an opportunity to learn from a variety of our leaders during scheduled informational sessions, as well as work together on a team project. Our roles are remote, so no commuting is required!

As part of the requirements, add the following:

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, 4-year college/university program in (customize based on role: writing or communication, web design, digital media, marketing, etc.)

• Ideal expected graduation date is 2023

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 10–12 week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The intern will be responsible for assisting in various marketing planning and promotions. This will offer the candidate exposure and hands on experience in the fundamentals of marketing including:

1. Promotions

2. Branding

3. Advertising

4. Website marketing

The intern will work on projects as a member of the Marketing department. Responsibilities could include:

• Assisting in the planning for a brand promotion.

• Developing a survey for customers using a survey tool, sharing the findings with the team.

• Maintaining marketing calendar.

• Understand the fundamentals of campaign performance and reporting.

• Assist with administrative functions as they are related to marketing, such as developing spreadsheets and presentations and creating surveys for deployment.

• Assisting with the project management of marketing initiatives including customer facing marketing materials.

• Update website content working with design and engineering teams.

• Brainstorming, development, of marketing plans and promotions.

• Attending and/or facilitating partner or agency meetings.

• Competitive analysis and ongoing tracking.

• Joint project with other interns to be presented at the end of the summer.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year university; must be a rising Junior or Senior.

• Be a U.S. Citizen

• Interest and passion for marketing and brands.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
