DevSecOps Pipeline Intern

LinQuest is seeking a DevSecOps Pipeline Intern to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO or a remote location.

This paid internship will span from May-Sept 2022 (Flexible on start/end date) with the potential to go part time past this period.


Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate project on-boarding into LinQuest corporate CI/CD pipeline in support of the Engineering Process Working Group Infrastructure Team
  • Incorporate new projects into pipeline
  • Use tools such as Confluence knowledge management, git/BitBucket repository manager, Nexus library management, Jira issue tracker, SonarQube software scan, KeyCloak security on software projects in a DevSecOps pipeline environment.
  • Document workflows and processes
  • Provide support on pipeline


Required Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


Required Experience:

  • You must be a college student in good standing, enrolled in a 4 year university in your Junior or Senior year
  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in a field such as (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent )
  • You must have a minimum college GPA requirement of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. If you are selected for an internship, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 after each completed semester/term
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required to be considered for this position


Preferred Experience:

  • Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker experience
  • Previous DevSecOps Pipeline internship experience


Compensation:

  • Starting hourly pay for this position is $24 an hour
