Continental Properties is looking for a Design Intern for Summer of 2022 at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

This internship provides a great opportunity to learn AutoCAD/design and participate directly in the real estate development process. Note – we ask that you are available to work part-time during the school year.

We are embracing a hybrid working environment and you can work both in the office and remote.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • You will create CAD Drawings from design sketches provided by Director of Design
  • Conduct general municipal code research
  • Material Takeoffs from CAD drawings, PDFs and physical Construction drawings
  • Product Research / Comparisons for different building components
  • Cost analysis / Spreadsheet work
  • Project Specification Analysis
  • Product Design Change Memos

Skills for Success:

  • Junior, senior, or graduate level student in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering
  • Available 20-40 hours per week (flexibility during the school year).
  • Extremely proficient in AutoCAD, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Bluebeam and PDF writer.
