Our Internship Development program is designed to provide Interns with real-world experience in the banking and financial services industry. An internship with Fulton Bank provides opportunity to explore a career path that matches your interests, while helping you gain valuable insights into the working life at Fulton Bank. Under close supervision with a designated Supervisor, you will be responsible for observing the policies and procedures within a specific area/department of the Bank, while acquiring knowledge through on-the-job training and building essential skills.

Additional Details:
- Dtart Date: Summer 2022.
- Work location: Fully remote internship, however preference will be given to local applicants in order to meet requirements of the Summer Internship Program.
- Ideal candidate is able to work 20-40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Flexible work hours/shifts will be considered in order to fulfill academic requirements.
As a condition of employment, individuals must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for a work visa by Fulton Financial Corporation currently or in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in a wide range of opportunities with tasks in their assigned department.
- Performs assigned duties in designated department to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance.
- Completes reports on progress in internship program and gives feedback about program to Manager and Talent Acquisition team. Management feedback must indicate satisfactory progress to remain in Internship Program.
- Intern may also participate in career training/education as needed, as well as, corporate events/initiatives.
- Duration of Internship is dependent on individual assignment.
Scope of Work:
- As an IT Support Center Intern you will support clients with their IT needs, questions, and inquiries.
- You will assist with day-to-day operations of the IT Support Center, including but not limited to: password resets, troubleshooting, and verbal or written communication with internal customers.
- Intern support is extremely valuable in decreasing call wait time, increasing customer satisfaction and experience, and enhancing corporate metrics.
Required Education: High School Diploma or the Equivalent Experience
- Fulton Bank interns will be expected to have completed, or currently enrolled and in the process of completing, a four (4) year college degree from an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, Risk, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, and/or Business and IT related majors.
- Must have completed a minimum of 15 academic credits/credit hours.
- If graduated must have been within the last 6 months.
- Strong academic performance is required.
Preferred Education:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred.
- Preference will be offered to rising Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors.
Required Experience: 0 to 6 months
- 0 to 6 months prior work related experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on assigned areas. May or may now have had previous internship (Preferred).
- Experience requirements will match the needs of the assigned department.
- Ideal candidate is personable, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills through verbal and written communication, and is a motivated 'self-starter' with drive and demonstrated initiative to advance their career.
- Ideal candidate has the ability to work on multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, achieve deadlines, and make progress towards completion, with proven ability to work independently and efficiently after instruction has been given.
Preferred Experience:
- Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Preference will be given to local applicants in order to meet the requirements of the Summer Internship Program.
