Anthem, Inc. is looking to hire a High School Intern to join our Sales and Strategic Accounts team. This intern will gain experience within a professional sales environment and will gain the opportunity to learn about and understand the world class products and services Anthem delivers.

How you will make an impact:

  • Assisting our account management team with project work and competitive analysis

  • Interacting with Account Executives, Account Managers, and sales related departments

  • Contributing towards the improvement of the sales workflow process

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Enrolled in high school (Junior/Senior) or a program of study at an accredited college or university
  • Must be 18 years or older by the start of the internship
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the 6 week-long internship (June-August)

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-motivated, organized, and team player
  • Possess a customer-focused attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Highly proficient on the PC with use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Social Media
