Calling all rising junior and senior undergraduate or MBA students! We are currently seeking a superstar Product Management Intern to join the JF Brands ( FabKids , Shoedazzle , JustFab ) team for Summer 2022.

What You’ll Do:

The JF Brands Product Management Internship is a fantastic role for students looking for real, hands-on experience building products in the e - commerce tech space.

Interns will gain a deep understanding of best product management methodologies, learn fundamental tools, technologies, and processes, and practice applying their knowledge to business challenges in the industry. They’ll gain this understanding by working with the JF Brands product organization, which includes FabKids , Shoedazzle and JustFab , with emphasis on the FabKids business.

  • The JF Brands intern will become an integral part of the team, working with a group of Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver meaningful and impactful technology solutions to solve business goals and challenges

  • As part of your internship, you’ll lead delivery of a website feature that solves a customer pain point or serves a business need, beginning from concepting, requirement writing and UAT to go-live on the site

  • Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Work with UX designer to run user tests on site friction points to determine areas of opportunity

  • Conduct an assessment on the shopping experience and discoverability of products on the site , including data analysis, competitive/comparative analysis and user-testing to pitch improvement ideas and estimated impact of ideas to team

  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria for feature delivery

  • Help manage software development life cycle (sprint + release management)

  • Organize key data touch points to track in new data analysis tool and help organize

  • Day -to-day , you’ll contribute to daily standups, team touch - bases and planning sessions as well as own delivery of smaller technology and website changes

  • By the end of the internship, you’ll have learned different product management development techniques, project management skills, how tradeoffs are made, different data analysis tools, how to take a feature from concept to launch, and how the full software development life cycle works.

Who You Are:

  • A rising junior or senior u ndergrad or MBA student preferred

  • Familiar with website, e-commerce, and technology trends

  • Experience with p roject-management

  • The ideal candidate is eager to learn , creative and not afraid to share ideas and collaborate with the amazing FabKids business and JF Brands product organization

The Intern Gig: We are looking for enthusiastic students with ambition to go far. Our full-time paid internship program will give you a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it is like to be a part of our fast-paced and innovative company. Our summer internship program will be located in our El Segundo headquarters, and will run for 10 weeks from June 13 th -August 19 th . Our interns have the unique opportunity to gain real work experience, while participating in skill-building workshops and interactive social activities throughout the duration of the internship assignment.
