Job Summary:
The intern will work with members of the Sales Force Development (SFD) team and sales analytics to complete specific projects and other duties as assigned. These projects will require the intern to analyze existing data and make recommendations for creating a sales segmentation test and learn and also assist with a sales playbook implementation.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- State objectives of each project and prepare a project brief that outlines all deliverables and timelines
- Identify required data sets and work with sales operations to access the data in required formats
- Interview commercial leaders including the VP of Sales, Area Sales Directors, Senior Manager Commercial Strategy and Marketing Directors to determine required outputs and testing protocols
- Inform the Director of Sales Force Development of progress each week during 1:1 meetings as scheduled
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
- Minimum course work of Statistics 101
- Ability to critically analyze data sets and think through alternatives and recommendations
- Organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently
- Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to read and understand technical material related to statistical testing and controls
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations
Work Environment:
- Professional office setting
- Willing to report to work in the Victor, NY office or remote from home
- This is a paid internship
- Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
Experience:
- Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.
Education:
- Current college student, majoring in marketing, sales, supply chain or statistics entering their Junior or Senior year/working towards a post-graduate degree.
- List any preferred academic affiliations and/or certifications
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.25 in the field of study
