About Our Internship Program
We are currently seeking motivated, self-driven students for the Summer 2022 Internship Program located at our STANLEY Infrastructure. Selected students will participate in a meaningful and challenging 10-week summer internship that will allow each intern to have exposure to different facets of the STANLEY Infrastructure business and receive critical business skills and career and personal development training. Interns will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects within a cross-functional team of professionals and get exposure to leaders within the business.

Who You Are
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must be a college student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or other related field. Junior/Senior level preferred.
Fast learner and someone who takes initiative.
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations including ADA, FMLA and FLSA preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player with ability to interface and build relations at all levels.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for long periods of time, bend, stretch, stoop, stand and reach as necessary.
Ability to speak, hear & see clearly.

What You ll Do
Working as a member of the HR Shared Services team, the HR Shared Services Intern will have the opportunity support a range of the STANLEY Infrastructure business units across the USA, collaborating with colleagues to provide back-end, internal HR services. This internship will provide an excellent opportunity to gain valuable HR experience outside the traditional onsite, face-to-face HR position perfect for front-end experienced interns to round out their overall HR skills.
Possible responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with day-to-day HRSS needs, such as:
    • New hire data processing
    • Organization of inbox, files (personnel, payroll, training, etc.)
    • Processing HRSS changes within various HRIS (supervisor, shift, pay rate, etc.)
    • Other duties, as needed to assist the overall HRSS team
  • Provide payroll backup support.
  • Maintain confidential employee records.
  • Participate in HR Team meetings and other meetings, as assigned.
  • Plan, manage and complete projects, as assigned.
