The Role

Pantheon’s paid Engineering internship program will give you an opportunity to gain real world professional experience and build your network before graduation. We are seeking six interns to join Pantheon as a remote employee this summer. We are looking for highly energetic and collaborative interns to join our growing organization.

As an Intern, you will learn our processes, work on a wide variety of tasks and projects within a cross-functional team of professionals and get exposure to leaders within the business.

We are looking for students who have completed at least 2 years of studies in the relevant field. Junior and graduating Senior preferred. At the end of the internship, full-time opportunities will be considered.

Cool Things You’ll Do

• Work alongside Platform Engineers on a globally distributed and rapidly growing infrastructure to improve its performance and capabilities
• Deliver an amazing experience for our customers
• Be a part of our Information Security Team working on Governance Risk & Compliance
• Enhance features such as AutoPilot or MultiDev
• Learn about Decoupled Sites and Edge Computing while contributing to Pantheon’s work in these areas

• Joining a Squad and working in sprints to deliver on the prioritized backlog
• Fixing customer issues as reported through our Customer Success Team
• Participating in all Agile Ceremonies with your squad (Stand Ups, Retros, Backlog Refinement
• Having regular meetings with your manager to discuss your weekly tasks and career ambitions while also working with your mentor

What you Bring to the Table

• Coding experience in an object-orienting, command line, or open source programming language (for example: Golang/Python/bash coding)
• Education in Operating System Foundations
• Exposure to Data structures and algorithms
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent OR an active GitHub account with contributions to 2 or more repositories

Bonus points will be given if you have experience/knowledge in:

• Secure web development (HTTP request/response, CDN, TLS certificates)
• CI/CD
• Container/Kubernetes
• Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS)
