Job Summary:

We seek an enthusiastic and driven marketing communications intern to join the Global Marketing Communications team. This internship position will be responsible for driving two important projects and therefore plays an important role in adding value to the team, and shaping the way we work beyond your internship period. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable marketing communications experience, including: working closely with different stakeholders within global marketing and earning critical experience in marketing-based functions.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • CORE PROJECT 1: Build a robust bench of marketing & creative agencies and vendor partners:
    • Partner with broader global marketing team (including Marcom, Digital, Brand and Professional Affairs) and assess department’s requirements and current resource gaps
    • Research potential marketing & creative agencies and vendor partners such as copywriters, graphic designers, PowerPoint designers, etc.
    • Make recommendations to the Global MarCom team, and other stakeholders and facilitate introductions
    • If time permits initiate new vendor onboarding
  • CORE PROJECT 2: Drive eLearning platform assessment and change:
    • Partner with broader global marketing team (including Marcom, Digital, Brand and Professional Affairs) to assess needs and build requirements
    • Partner with cross-functional business partners to understand their current eLearning providers and functionality
    • Research outside eLearning vendors and evaluate their capabilities
    • Assess findings and present a short list of recommendations to the Global Marcom team
    • If time permits – onboard new platform

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Well-versed in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently and meet deadlines
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and follow-through skillset
  • Professional demeanor

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (i.e. – some days in a professional office setting and other days at home)Prolonged sitting in front of a computer (email communications, attendance in meetings virtually and in-person)
  • This is a paid internship

Experience:

  • Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Current college or graduate student, majoring in marketing or public relations (if undergrad, entering their Junior or Senior year).
