Remote Internship

Position Summary

The Intern Project Manager will engage with the payments delivery process, work through cross-functional teams and shadow stakeholders involved in overall product execution. They will receive training on the payments product lines and our status reporting and escalation process. The Intern will receive learnings on program management soft skills, Communication, Teamwork, Problem-solving, Time management, Critical thinking, Decision-making, and Stress management.

Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Facilitate a cross-functional team meeting with a fixed agenda
  • Write meeting minutes and distribute to the cross-functional teams
  • Track action Items and issues to closure
  • Reporting status using the PMO status reporting process and status indicators
  • Calling out red-flag issues to the Sr. Program Manager in a timely fashion
  • Helping Payments Program managers at their quarterly Payments PI events

Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language

  • Effective Communicator - Facilitate a cross-functional team meeting with a fixed agenda
  • Ability to Understand and Listen to your team - Write meeting minutes and distribute to the cross-functional teams
  • Ability to Prioritize and Delegate Tasks Efficiently - Track action Items and issues to closure
  • Ability to See the Bigger Picture - Reporting status using the PMO status reporting process and status indicators
  • Ability to Set Reasonable Deadlines and Escalate to Stakeholders – Calling out red-flag issues to the Sr. Program Manager in a timely fashion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Studies in Political Science, Language Arts, Engineering, Business
  • Familiar with MS Office tools
  • Junior or Senior in Undergraduate Study Program highly preferred
