Job Summary:

The Treasury Intern will work on challenging projects that not only provide broad exposure to the Treasury function of a multinational corporate headquarters but encourage further development as an individual and a business professional. The Treasury Intern will partner with a department mentor and be part of a collaborative team, allowing the individual to be exposed to each member’s function and skill set. The Intern will work on multifaceted projects that will expose them to Cash Management, a fundamental of Corporate Treasury, and contribute to their educational and career development. The projects will be completed over the course of their internship and presented to Leadership at the end of the program.


Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Assist with global banking projects.
  • Prepare various weekly and monthly reports on global balances and foreign exchange rates.
  • Assist with preparation of bank account documentation, including account openings and closings, and updating authorities and entitlements.
  • Internship Projects:
    • Evaluate, communicate, and implement payment best practices.
    • Coordinate, implement and update banking resolutions.
    • Implement updates in Bank Account Management application.
    • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including command of English language for reading, writing, and comprehension, with ability to communicate with diverse populations.
  • Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to research.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines with accuracy.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work model- mixture of in-office and remote work.
  • Professional office setting.
  • This is a paid internship.
  • Occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer.

Experience:

  • Not required, but prior Internship experience and/or project management experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Current college student, majoring in Finance, Accounting Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or related disciplines, entering their Junior or Senior year, or working towards a post-graduate degree.
  • 3.3 GPA or greater in both cumulative GPA and major GPA.
