We are looking for a localization intern who is eager to contribute to the quality of translated WEBTOON series. As a Localization Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Localization – Quality Assurance Team on managing and preparing linguistic assets. You will perform final quality checks, ensuring content is ready for publishing. You will also learn the ins and outs of launching a series, from choosing a series for translation, overseeing the localization process from start to finish, and collaborating with other departments to plan and execute successful launches.
Our ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in localization and/or translation, is an avid consumer of a variety of online content, and has experience in localization project management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create linguistic assets (translation memories, glossaries) to use with CAT tools
- Perform quality assurance checks and deliver feedback before content is published
- Track the lifecycle of a project and analyze localization workflow issues
Requirements:
- Must be an avid reader of WEBTOON series!
- Must be a junior, senior, recent graduate (within last 2 years), or graduate student in an accredited program
- Experience in localization, linguistics, copywriting, or a related field
- Must be able to quickly read through webcomic episodes while catching errors
- Technical knowledge of various localization tools
- Intermediate DTP skills
- Must be able to work remotely for 20-30 hours/week
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize various ongoing tasks at once
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Knowledge of the Korean language and cultural trends
