Jam City’s Recruiting team plays an integral role in the growth of our studios. As a Talent Acquisition Intern you will be a part of a lean, but highly impactful team. We partner with teams company wide to manage the hiring process of hundreds of new Jam Citizens each year. You will be challenged creatively in finding new ways to showcase what makes Jam City special to attract the best talent, while also getting to learn organizational theory across projects, and recruiting coordination. Most of all, you’ll learn what drives candidates to companies and how to recruit the best to our industry and teams.

Internship Program Qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program in the U.S (Juniors or Seniors preferred) and able to intern remotely through late-August 2022. At this time, our program is not open to new grads.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US during the Summer 2022 session. Visa sponsorship is not available for our internship positions.
    • Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 30 hours per week)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Support ongoing coordination and facilitation of university outreach and early career programming including: organization of speaker events, employee panels, intern events, and intern manager trainings
    • Collaborate on the creation of early talent program engagement surveys - collecting responses, and creating reports for stakeholders
    • ID and build relationships with relevant schools and learning institutions that offer programs in game design, programming, art, etc.
    • Ideate content (i.e. blogs, videos, and social posts) that shares information on our open roles, showcases our employer brand, and attracts talent to Jam City
    • Research recruitment marketing and employer branding trends within our industry and provide insight to our recruiters on how we can best position open roles and #lifeatjamcity
    • Shadow recruiting screens and hiring manager intake meetings to learn the structure of interview planning and interview etiquette
    • Support with organizing and posting roles on job boards and careers site
    • Partake in recruitment syncs and cross-department meetings to understand hiring needs and planning and aid in sourcing candidates

WHO YOU ARE:

    • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program in the U.S. (Juniors or Seniors preferred) during the Summer 2022 program and returning to classes during Fall 2022
    • Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 30 hours per week)
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and understanding the importance of DEI within recruiting
    • Strong public speaking abilities
    • Attention to detail, follow-up, and excellent organizational skills
About Jam City’s Internship Program:

Jam City’s Summer 2022 Remote Internship Program will take place from June 13th through August 25th and will be primarily remote with the possibility of one week being on-site (travel provided for non local students). Students can expect a paid, part-time (up to 30 hours per week) internship working alongside Jam City’s business and studio development teams. Within internships, students gain valuable insights into our products, players, and industry. Our program allows students to work on impactful projects, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop problem-solving skills through real hands-on experiences. We’re looking for students that bring curiosity, creativity, and an interest or passion for mobile games.
