Jam City is seeking a driven and process-oriented Creative Production Intern that will help support and grow our production capacity across Jam City product marketing. The ideal student has a novice understanding of mobile gaming and digital marketing. They are a tireless advocate for outstanding creative representation of Jam City’s games across social media, user acquisition, and digital storefronts. This is a great opportunity for a student from a creative background that is interested in exploring the world of creative production management on a global scale.

Internship Program Qualfications:

    • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program in the U.S (Juniors or Seniors preferred) and able to intern remotely through late-August 2022. At this time, our program is not open to new grads.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US during the Summer 2022 session. Visa sponsorship is not available for our internship positions.
    • Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 30 hours per week)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Work within our project management system to assist with production tasks including managing creative briefs, status checks, and asset QA (quality assurance)
    • Attend creative brainstorms and contribute ideas for new types of marketing creatives across Jam City titles including Disney Emoji Blitz, Hogwarts Mystery, and our new P2E title Champions: Ascension
    • Assist in keeping up to date documentation of creative processes and specifications for new artists and vendors
    • Organize art and other creative files in the Jam City asset management system and further support with up-keeping project asset pipelines

WHO YOU ARE:

    • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program in the U.S. (Juniors or Seniors preferred) during the Summer 2022 program and returning to classes during Fall 2022
    • Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 30 hours per week)
    • Cursory understanding of digital marketing and / or player performance data
    • Working knowledge of creative processes for video and graphic creation
    • An eye for detail when reviewing creatives, with a laser focus on spotting mistakes, accuracy in meeting requirements, specifications, etc
    • Highly organized, proactive self-starter, with demonstrated ability to plan and self-manage concurrent content pipelines and programs

BONUS POINTS IF YOU:

    • Bring experience with copywriting for brands on various social media platforms and / or long-form community content like blogs
    • Working on a degree in communication, marketing, graphic design, video production, or related field
    • Project management training and experience - including certifications
    • A passionate gamer of casual mobile games
About Jam City’s Internship Program:

Jam City’s Summer 2022 Remote Internship Program will take place from June 13th through August 25th and will be primarily remote with the possibility of one week being on-site (travel provided for non local students). Students can expect a paid, part-time (up to 30 hours per week) internship working alongside Jam City’s business and studio development teams. Within internships, students gain valuable insights into our products, players, and industry. Our program allows students to work on impactful projects, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop problem-solving skills through real hands-on experiences. We’re looking for students that bring curiosity, creativity, and an interest or passion for mobile games.
